Sarah offers comprehensive one-off psychiatric assessments as well as ongoing care for young people and families seeking longer-term support and treatment.
Her clinical interests include psychotherapy, neurodevelopmental disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders, and working with young people who have personality disorders or a history of adversity.
Assessment and Diagnosis
Sarah offers comprehensive psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents under 18. She explores presenting concerns within the broader context of social, family, and developmental factors. Where appropriate, she also conducts neurodevelopmental assessments. As part of the assessment process, additional sessions may be needed to gather information from caregivers, families and schools.
Ongoing Psychiatric Care
Sarah provides ongoing psychiatric care for young people and their families. This may involve regular psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both, depending on what best supports the young person's needs. Sarah works collaboratively with families and liaises with GPs and other treating clinicians to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
